Building a project management function from zero for an organization running dozens of concurrent projects with no standardized process cut the time from deal-closed to work actually starting by roughly two-thirds. None of that came from new software. It came from making resourcing and hand-offs visible enough that staffing could follow actual need instead of guesswork, the same alignment work that has to happen before an executive team can agree on what "done" even looks like.
